I am a professor of natural resource management and collaborative planning at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. I am off to Namibia to study wildlife management on the communal conservancies and to teach at the Polytechnic of Namibia. The purpose of this blog is simply to recount my adventures.

Thanks for reading them, Martha! Drop me a line anytime; I love hearing any news from home. I really like it here, but there’s no place like home!
